Youth Villages, Inc. is seeking a Crisis Response Counselor to deliver mobile crisis assessment and intervention for youth up to age 18 within home and community settings. The role focuses on safety planning, stabilization, and collaboration with families and partners.

The position requires a Master’s degree in a clinical or mental health field and licensure or licensure-eligibility. Flexible scheduling, mileage reimbursement, and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a clinical or mental health discipline is required.
• Provisional licensure (LMSW, LCSW, LPC, LMFT) or working toward licensure is strongly preferred.
• Experience with at-risk youth and families is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
• Excellent written, verbal, and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide mobile crisis response and thorough assessments of youth and families in crises.
• Utilize crisis respite homes when appropriate.
• Provide ongoing treatment and stabilization until services are secured.
• Collaborate with team members, adult crisis teams, and community partners.
• Attend weekly meetings for professional development and booster trainings.
• Document accurately in an EMR system and maintain timely records.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
