Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires HS grad or GED.
• Phlebotomy training preferred.
• Experience with waived or moderate complexity testing preferred.
• Must have basic computer skills and telephone etiquette.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide general laboratory services including specimen collection and processing.
• Prepare blood components and assist with testing as required.
• Handle patient and specimen registration and delivery of specimens.
• Perform waived testing and some moderate complexity testing.
• Complete related clerical tasks and ensure accurate documentation.
