Ideal candidates have completed a phlebotomy training program and may have experience with waived or moderate complexity testing; strong computer and telephone skills

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy training program completed; experience in laboratory preferred.
• Experience with waived or moderate complexity testing preferred.
• Working knowledge of computers.

Responsibilities

• Provides general laboratory services including specimen collection, order entry, blood component preparation, pre-analytic processing of specimens and related clerical tasks; may be responsible for patient and specimen registration and delivery of specimens.
