Santa Rosa Medical Center in Milton, FL is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for PRN daytime coverage. The RN provides patient-centered care using the nursing process, coordinates with the care team, and ensures safe medication administration and monitoring.

The role involves collaboration with physicians, nurses, and staff to develop and implement individualized care plans, respond to emergencies, and educate patients and families on treatment and discharge steps.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting
• RN - State Licensure required; BCLS required; ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred
• Ability to administer medications and monitor for side effects
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Responsabilités

• Coordinates and delivers patient-centered care per nursing process.
• Documents findings and reports changes to care team.
• Administers prescribed medications and monitors for side effects.
• Assists physicians during procedures within competency.
• Implements and adheres to infection control protocols.
• Engages in CPR and code team activities as appropriate.
• Educates patients and families on conditions and discharge care.
