• MedSurg or inpatient post-surgical experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in line with nursing process and organizational policies.
• Documents thorough patient assessments and reports changes to care team.
• Administers prescribed medications and monitors for side effects.
• Assists physicians during procedures within documented competency.
• Educates patients and families on conditions, treatment plans and post-discharge care.
• Maintains infection control and safety standards to protect patients and staff.
• Participates in audits, chart reviews and performance improvement initiatives.
