Job summary

Santa Rosa Medical Center in Milton, FL is seeking an Experienced RN PRN for day shifts (0630–1900). Requirements include Florida RN licensure (or compact), BCLS, and 0–2 years in a clinical nursing role. ACLS/PALS/NRP are preferred.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in state of Florida or compact state licensure.
• BCLS certification required; ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred.
• 0-2 years of clinical nursing experience in acute care or student rotations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers patient-centered care in line with nursing process and organizational policies.
• Conducts thorough patient assessments and documents findings, reporting changes promptly.
• Administers prescribed medications, monitors side effects, and documents administration.
• Collaborates with physicians and health‑care teams to develop and evaluate care plans.
• Responds to medical emergencies and participates in CPR/code team activities.
• Educates patients and families on conditions and post‑discharge care.
• Ensures infection control protocols are followed and safety standards maintained.
• Maintains accurate documentation in the medical record and supports audits.
