Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting.
• Current RN license for Florida or compact state required.
• BCLS required; ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred depending on unit.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care per nursing process.
• Performs thorough patient assessments and documents findings accurately.
• Administers prescribed medications and monitors for side effects.
• Assists physicians during procedures within documented competency.
• Develops and evaluates individualized care plans with the care team.
• Responds to medical emergencies and participates in CPR/Code team.
• Maintains infection control and safe environment for patients and staff.
• Documents care thoroughly in the medical record.
