Job summary

Santa Rosa Medical Center in Milton, Florida is seeking a MedSurg RN to join our night shift (1830 - 0700). The RN provides patient-centered care, follows the nursing process, and collaborates with physicians and the care team to achieve optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of clinical nursing experience in an acute care setting required.
• RN license in state or compact state required.
• BCLS required; ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care per the nursing process.
• Document findings and communicate changes to the care team.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for side effects.
• Assist physicians during procedures within documented competency.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans with the team.
• Respond to medical emergencies and participate in CPR and code team activities.
• Educate patients and families on conditions and post-discharge care.
• Maintain infection control protocols and patient safety standards.
