Job summary

HealthGrades Analytics in Dallas is seeking a PRN Medical Assistant with scheduling responsibilities to support our clinics in the Dallas area. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills and experience scheduling patients for exams, and performing MA duties within wellness testing.

Requirements include at least 1 year of clinic experience, proficiency with EMR systems (ECW and Athena preferred), excellent communication, and a professional, positive attitude.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of clinic experience.
• Excellent computer skills.
• Experience with EMR Systems. Preferably ECW and Athena.
• Positive, professional attitude and code of conduct.
• Excellent, professional communication skills.
• Ability to schedule/encourage pts to schedule.

Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls and take inbound calls.
• Schedule patients for yearly exams.
• Assist patients with scheduling appointments.
• Perform MA portion of wellness testing.
• Update patient records.
• Follow HIPAA regulations.
