Job summary

HealthGrades Analytics in Rockwall, TX is seeking a PRN Medical Assistant to support multiple Dallas area locations with flexible travel. This role covers Mansfield and Mount Vernon, with potential travel to San Antonio, Katy as needed.

This is a PRN position that involves travel to all Dallas area locations, based on the needs of the business. Georgetown and Central Austin.

The address in the job posting is a midpoint location between our clinics in the area. This position is for Mansfield, TX and Mount Vernon, TX. Potential for travel within Texas if able: San Antonio, Katy, Mansfield.

Job Details

• Welcomes patients by greeting them in person.
• Prepares patients for the health care visit by directing and/or accompanying them to the examining room; helping them to position themselves for the examination and/or treatment; arranging examining room instruments, supplies, and equipment.
• Verifies patient information by interviewing patient; reviewing and/or recording medical history; taking vital signs; confirming purpose of visit or treatment.

Performs patient exams for multiple tests to include

• Spirometry (PFT) (training provided).
• Fundus photos (training provided).
• ANS/Sudo testing (equipment driven, training provided).
• Neural testing (training provided).
• Performs basic vitals and height weight.
• Ensures appropriate and accurate documentation in the patient's medical record.
• Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock; placing orders; and verifying receipts.
• Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following, and enforcing standards and procedures, and complying with legal regulations.
• Excellent time management skills are necessary.
• Great communication skills are helpful.
• Keeps patient care information confidential.

Salary

$20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Schedule

• Day shift. Varies. 7:30a-5p
• Monday to Saturday.

Experience

• Healthcare worker (in some capacity): 1 year (Required).
• Medical Assistant: 6 months (Preferred).
