Job summary

Marathon Health is looking for an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team. You will accompany patients, take vitals, assist with procedures, and support the care team and front-desk operations to ensure a seamless patient experience.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year MA experience, graduate from an MA program, CPR/BLS certification, and MA certification/registration. Phlebotomy experience is a plus. Competitive benefits and PTO included.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program.
• National or state certification/registration preferred; required where mandated by state.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and ensure rooms are cleaned and stocked.
• Take vitals, draw blood, administer injections, and assist with procedures.
• Prepare and administer medications per provider orders.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals, and patient check-in/out.
• Record data in medical chart and communicate results to patients.
