Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program with externship preferred or 1+ year direct patient care as MA.
• Knowledge of medical procedures and terminology; occupational medicine knowledge preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT and non-DOT drug and alcohol testing.
• Prepare patients for physical examinations including vitals, phlebotomy, vaccines, PFTs, audiograms and respirator fit testing.
• Assist providers during examinations and treatments; handle triage and post-care documentation.
• Front/back office duties: greet patients, check in/out, process authorizations, manage records.
