Job summary

MBK Senior Living is seeking a Medication Technician for PRN/on-call shifts. You will document, deliver, and administer medicines to residents per physician orders while providing superior customer service and adhering to all policies and regulations.

The role includes narcotic counts, coordination with pharmacy, and supporting caregiving duties. Qualifications include 18+ years, a high school diploma or equivalent, caregiver certification, and compliance with HIPAA and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ and have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Caregiver certification
• Background clearances as required by regulations
• Ability to read, write and speak English

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily medications and care as assigned
• Document and verify medication administration and ensure accuracy
• Coordinate with residents, pharmacy and physicians for med changes
• Complete narcotic counts at start and end of shift
• Support caregivers in daily activities and safety checks
• Record and report changes in a resident's condition promptly
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA and regulatory requirements
