Job summary

Eventide GracePointe Senior Living in Lincoln, NE is seeking a Universal Worker II (Med Aide) to join as a PRN, on-site position with at least 24 hours per month and 16 weekend hours. The role includes assisting residents with activities of daily living, supporting admissions/discharges, and adhering to care plans while maintaining HIPAA compliance.

Ideal candidates will hold CNA and MA-40 certifications, have at least 6 months of caregiving experience, and meet vaccination requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English including medical terminology.
• 6 months experience as an aide or caregiver preferred.
• Credentials: CNA and MA-40 in good standing; CPR if MA-40 used.
• Vaccination requirements as determined by Eventide.

Responsibilities

• Assists with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting, transfers).
• Assists with admissions, discharges, transfers and orientation of new employees.
• Follows care/service plan objectives and documents as required.
• Prioritizes and adjusts tasks to meet changing needs; respond to call lights.
• Performs duties in line with HIPAA/privacy regulations.
• Prepares meals, serves, and assists with dining room cleanup and housekeeping.
• Administers medications and treatments under RN direction when MA-40 is utilized, per policy.
