Job summary

Eventide Crete Senior Living in Crete, Nebraska, is seeking a Universal Worker II (Med Aide) for the 2p–10p shift. This part-time evening role includes weekend and holiday rotation and works on-site.

You will assist with activities of daily living, medication administration under RN supervision, and dining room duties while upholding care plans and HIPAA. CNA/MA-40 credentials with CPR when applicable required; vaccination compliance is expected.

Qualifications

• Ability to speak, read, write English with medical terminology.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 6 months experience as an aide or caregiver preferred.
• CNA and MA-40 certification in good standing; CPR if MA-40 used; vaccinations per policy.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting, transfers).
• Assist with admissions, discharges, transfers, and orientation of new staff.
• Follow department protocol for documentation and care plans.
• Prioritize and adjust tasks to meet changing needs during shift.
• Provide medications and treatments under RN supervision when applicable (MA-40).
• Maintain HIPAA privacy and protect PHI at all times.
• Prepare and serve meals, assist with dining and related cleanup.
