Eventide Prairie Commons in Grand Island, NE is seeking a PRN Medication Aide (MA40) with CNA required. The role requires a current MA40 and CNA license in NE, with at least 24 hours per month (16 on weekends) and one holiday per year.

Pay ranges from $19.00 to $21.28 per hour, with shift premiums available. You'll assist with activities of daily living, admissions/discharges/transfers, and follow care plans while protecting patient privacy under HIPAA.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 6 months experience as an aide or caregiver preferred.
• Active CNA license in the state of NE required
• Active MA40 license in the state of NE required
• Provides assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting, transferring/ambulation and continence.
• Assists with admissions, discharges, transfers and orientation of new employees.
• Follows department protocol for submission of completed documentation.
• Prioritizes assignments and adjusts to meet needs during shifts.
• Follows through on the care plan for each individual.
• HIPAA privacy compliance.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and administers medications under RN supervision.
• Assists with activities of daily living as needed.
• Supports admissions, discharges, transfers and orientation of new employees.
• Follows care plans and documentation procedures.
• Maintains HIPAA compliance and protects PHI.
