Job summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a Mammography Technologist for a PRN role in the United States. You will operate mammography equipment, guide patients, and perform imaging with a patient-centered approach while adhering to MQSA standards and safety protocols.

Requirements include ARRT registration, AMA-approved radiography education, state licensure (as applicable), CPR, and imaging specialty certification. Bilingual candidates are a plus.

Qualifications

• ARRT registered technologist, AMA approved radiography program graduation.
• Licensed radiological technologist in the appropriate state (if applicable).
• CPR certification and ability to perform mammography procedures independently.

Responsibilities

• Screen patients prior to exam using two identifiers.
• Explain and prepare patients for mammography imaging and positioning.
• Perform routine and advanced mammography imaging with minimal supervision.
• Adjust scan parameters and use dose-reduction techniques.
• Maintain accurate records in RIS and ensure clean, safe work area.
• Assist with protocol manuals, inventory, and training of new associates.

Education

ARRT registered technologist, AMA approved school of radiography, licensed radiological technologist in appropriate state, CPR certification, imaging specialty certification, continuing CEUs MQSA
