Job summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a Mammography Technologist to operate assigned scanners and produce diagnostic images with patient-centered care and professional standards. The role emphasizes high-quality imaging, safety, and excellent patient service.

The position is per diem/temporary with varying shifts. Requirements include AMA-approved radiography education, ARRT registration, and state licensure where applicable, plus CPR and MQSA CEUs as needed, with bilingual skills a plus.

Qualifications

• Patient safety and imaging procedure preparation.
• Explain procedures and position patients for imaging.
• Perform routine and advanced Mammography imaging with adequate supervision.
• Maintain accurate patient records in RIS.

Responsibilities

• Screws patients before exam using two identifiers.
• Explain imaging procedures and position patients.
• Perform Mammography with minimal supervision.
• Adjust scan parameters and use dose-reduction techniques.
• Follow physician orders and maintain records.
