Job summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a Mammography Technologist to join our team. You will operate mammography scanners to produce diagnostic breast images, position patients, and ensure safety and quality in a patient-centered environment.

This temporary/PRN role involves varied shifts and requires ARRT registration, AMA-approved radiography training, state licensure as applicable, CPR, and MQSA CEUs. We offer DailyPay and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, or equivalent.
• Graduate of an American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of radiography.
• ARRT registered technologist, current and in good standing.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable.
• Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
• Must have sufficient training and experience to competently perform mammography procedures independently.
• Certification in imaging specialty.
• Must have continuing CEU's in modality as required by MQSA or state specific.

Responsibilities

• Operate designated mammography scanners to produce diagnostic images.
• Explain and position patients for imaging procedures.
• Perform routine and advanced mammography imaging with minimal supervision.
• Adjust scan parameters and use dose reduction techniques.
• Maintain patient records in RIS and follow safety regulations.
• Keep the work area clean and equipment maintained.
• Support department accreditation requirements.
