Job summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a part-time Mammography Technologist in Federal Way, Washington. Job description

RAYUS Radiology is looking for a Mammography Technologist to join our team. The pay range for this position is $40 – $65 based on direct and relevant experience. This is a part‑time position working 32 hours per week Monday through Friday. The role is eligible for full benefits.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Screen patients before exam for precautions or contradictions and verify patient identity.
• Explain and prepare patients for mammography procedures, including positioning.
• Perform routine and advanced mammography imaging on designated areas for physicians, providing patient support throughout.
• Adjust scan parameters and use dose‑reduction techniques as needed.
• Follow physician orders, comply with safety regulations, and maintain accurate records in the Radiology Information System (RIS).
• Maintain a clean, orderly work area and promote safety for patients and coworkers.
• Maintain the ACR toolkit and accreditation requirements.

Additional responsibilities:

• Assist with imaging protocol manual updates and software upgrades.
• Monitor inventory of medical supplies and request replenishment.
• Assist in training new associates.

Minimum Qualifications

• ARRT registered technologist, current and in good standing.
• Graduate of an AMA‑approved school of radiography.
• Licensed radiological technologist in the applicable state, if required.
• Current CPR certification.
• Training and experience sufficient for independent mammography procedures.
• Certification in an imaging specialty.
• Continuing CEU’s in mammography as required by MQSA or state regulation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual skills.
