Job summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a Mammography Technologist to operate mammography scanners, image patients, and ensure high-quality diagnostic results. This PRN position involves day shifts in Orlando, FL, with emphasis on patient-centered care and adherence to MQSA standards.

The role requires ARRT registration, AMA-approved radiography training, CPR, and state licensure if applicable. It offers daily pay options and a comprehensive benefits package for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of AMA approved school of radiography.
• ARRT registered technologist, in good standing.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable.
• Current CPR certification.
• Must competently perform mammography procedures independently.
• Certification in imaging specialty.
• Continuing CEU's in modality as required by MQSA or state.

Responsibilities

• Operate assigned mammography scanner(s) to produce diagnostic images.
• Explain and prepare patients for mammography procedures and position patients.
• Perform routine and advanced mammography imaging with minimal supervision.
• Adjust scan parameters and use dose-reduction techniques.
• Follow physicians' orders, maintain safety, and document in RIS.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and ensure equipment readiness.
• Support the department with protocol manuals and software upgrades.
