Chapters Health System, Inc. is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) to provide nursing interventions and teaching to maximize patient comfort under RN supervision, in the patient/family unit. The role emphasizes compassionate care and collaboration with the Interdisciplinary Group.

The LPN must hold an active Florida license, BLS certification, IV certification, and be able to work a flexible schedule. Cross training for Hospice House may be required to meet staffing needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum education and active LPN license in Florida
• IV certification required at time of hire
• BLS certification required for healthcare professionals
• Written and verbal English communication skills essential
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Infusion therapy training preferred or completion soon after hire

Responsabilités

• Provide nursing tasks under RN supervision
• Administer medications and manage symptoms per plan
• Observe patients and report changes to RN
• Document care in medical records
• Assist during emergencies and follow company protocols
• Cross-train for flexible staffing and hospice house requirements
