Job summary

Availability for evening and overnight weekend shifts is required, and candidates must train full-time on weekdays during the first two weeks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; 1 year laboratory experience preferred.
• 1 year clinical laboratory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collects and processes laboratory specimens.
• Logs and files specimens; maintains proper records.
• Maintains a clean, safe work environment and reports hazards.
• Performs quality control and equipment maintenance checks.
• Assists in patient registration and LIS inquiries.
• Contributes to department goals and quality initiatives.
