Job summary

HCA Florida Woodmont Hospital is seeking a PRN IR RN to join the Imaging Department. The Radiology Nurse initiates and continues patient care for ages from neonate to geriatric, including contrast injections and sedations as needed.

Required qualifications include RN licensure, an Associate Degree, ACLS/BLS within 30 days, and 3–5 years of clinical experience with ICU/CCU/OR/imaging sedation for both pediatric and adult patients.

Qualifications

• BLS within 30 days of start date
• RN licensed nurse
• Associate Degree required
• 3–5 years of clinical experience preferred
• ICU/CCU/OR/Imaging and sedation experience; pediatric and adult patients preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in the Imaging Department for patients of all ages

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Radiology Nurse assumes, under the direction of the Medical Director and the Director of Medical Imaging Services, the initiation and/or continuance of patient care in the Imaging Department for patients of all ages, including neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric, as required. The Radiology Nurse is also responsible for the injection of contrast media and any medications or sedations which the patient may require while in the Imaging Department.

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse
• Associate Degree
• Minimum of 3 – 5 years of clinical experience preferred
• ICU/CCU/OR/Imaging Experience Sedation Experience Pediatric and Adults preferred
