Cardinal Health manages inpatient pharmacy services for PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of South Point. We are currently recruiting for a PRN Pharmacist to work as needed during facility hours and on-call.

The facility is open Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm and on-call after hours, weekends and holidays as needed. Working in a hospital system pharmacy outsourced to Cardinal Health, the Pharmacist II adjusts and dispenses medication to patients and drives the compliant and efficient

Formación

• Licensed pharmacist in Ohio in good standing.
• In-patient hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts.
• Ability to work on call rotations.
• Excellent communication with clinicians and patients.

Responsabilidades

• Verify physician orders using the pharmacy information system and adjust as needed.
• Supervise Pharmacy Technicians and ensure compliant operations.
• Adjust dosages per established protocols and support antimicrobial stewardship.
• Educate patients on medication use and expectations.
• Manage narcotics, inventory, and compliance tasks.
• Contact Nurses and Physicians to verify orders when needed.
• Assist Pharmacy Director with accreditation and system changes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
