Job summary

Cardinal Health manages the pharmacy at PAM Voyages Behavioral Health of Conroe. We are currently recruiting for a PRN Pharmacist to work as needed during facility hours and on-call after hours, weekends and holidays. The facility is open Monday - Friday from 8:00AM to 4:30PM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
• Licensed, “good standing” pharmacist in the state of Texas.
• In-patient/hospital pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verifies physician orders and dispenses medications using pharmacy information systems.
• Performs renal and hepatic dosing when necessary.
• Supervises Pharmacy Technicians to ensure compliant and efficient operations.
• Adjusts dosages based on protocols and patient conditions.
• Educates Nursing Staff on procedures and medication usage.
• Manages narcotics and inventory control and compliance.
