Job summary

Helms Home Care is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse based in Wilson, NC. This role includes providing infusion therapy nursing services to patients at home, ensuring personalized and compassionate care.

Candidates must possess a current Registered Nurse license and have a minimum of one-year experience in infusion therapy. The position offers competitive pay and requires completing two visits per week.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation, access to a printer/scanner/fax machine.
• Licensed driver with valid automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

• Perform catheter access & care (peripheral IVs, port-a-caths, PICC/central lines), vitals/assessments, medication administration.
• Provide patient education on self-administration of medication.
• Make visit notes through electronic charting and submit promptly.

Responsibilities

• As per the Patients needs perform catheter access & care (peripheral IVs, port-a-caths, PICC/central lines), vitals/assessments, medication administration (Abx, TPN, IVIG, and other specialty meds), blood draws
• Provide patient education on self-administration of medication
• Make visit notes through electronic charting and submit promptly

Qualifications and Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse license with competent in the duties described above
• Minimum 1-year experience in infusion therapy and/or catheter maintenance and care
• Reliable transportation, access to a printer/scanner/fax machine
• Must be able to communicate promptly with our scheduling personnel
• Expect to do 2 visits per week
• Licensed driver with valid automobile insurance
