Job summary

Helms Home Care seeks a registered nurse to provide home infusion therapy across North Carolina. You will perform catheter access, monitor vitals, administer medications, and educate patients in self-care during home visits.

The role requires a valid RN license and at least 1 year of infusion experience, with reliable transportation and access to basic office tools. PRN visits offer flexible scheduling and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license with competence in infusion duties.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in infusion therapy and/or catheter care.
• Reliable transportation to patient homes and access to a printer/scanner/fax machine.

Responsibilities

• Perform catheter access and care (peripheral IVs, ports, PICC/central lines), vitals and assessments, and medication administration (including Abx, TPN, IVIG).
• Educate patients on self-administration of medications.
• Create visit notes through electronic charting and submit promptly.
