Athra Systems/Crosstown Mental Health seeks a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with addiction medicine experience to deliver comprehensive psychiatric care in a residential setting and perform history and physicals with medical follow-up. This in-person role collaborates with psychiatrists and a multidisciplinary team to provide patient-centered care.

The ideal candidate has a nursing advanced degree, board certification, and NC licensure with DEA; prior behavioral health

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Board Certification is required.
• Active and unrestricted nursing/medical license in North Carolina; DEA registration and prescriptive authority in NC.
• Behavioral health or addiction treatment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments for patients.
• Complete history and physicals.
• Medical follow-up and monitoring of treatment plans.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans.
• Prescribe and manage psychopharmacological treatments.
• Provide psychotherapy and counseling to patients.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)/Physician Assistant with addiction medicine experience to join our team. The clinician will provide comprehensive psychiatric care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment, to patients with a variety of mental health conditions in a residential treatment setting in addition to history and physicals and medical follow-up. This role involves collaborating with our team of psychiatrists other team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments for patients.
• Complete history and physicals
• Medical follow-up
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans.

Qualifications:

• Master\'s or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Two years of experience working as a midlevel provider is preferred.
• Board Certification is required.
• Behavioral health or addiction treatment experience preferred.
• Active and unrestricted nursing/medical license in North Carolina.
• DEA registration and prescriptive authority in North Carolina.
• Strong clinical skills in the assessment and treatment of psychiatric conditions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

• This is an in-person position.
