Athra Systems/Crosstown Mental Health in Chester, VA is seeking a PMHNP/FNP/PA-C with addiction medicine experience to provide psychiatric care in a residential treatment setting.

You will conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, prescribe medications, provide psychotherapy, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. This is an in-person role requiring Virginia licensure and commuting distance to Chester.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Two years of PMHNP/FNP/PA-C experience preferred.
• Board Certification as PMHNP/FNP/PA-C.
• Active and unrestricted Virginia APRN license.
• DEA registration and prescriptive authority in Virginia.
• Behavioral health or addiction treatment experience preferred.
• This is an in-person position and must be within commuting distance of Chester, VA.

Responsibilities

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)/Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)/Physician Assistant with addiction medicine experience to join our team. The clinician will provide comprehensive psychiatric care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment, to patients with a variety of mental health conditions in a residential treatment setting in addition to history and physicals and medical follow-up. This role involves collaborating with our team of psychiatrists and other team members.
