Job summary

Athra Systems/Crosstown Mental Health in Georgia seeks a PMHNP/FNP/PA-C with addiction medicine experience to provide comprehensive psychiatric care in a residential treatment setting, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, history and physicals, and medical follow-up.

You will collaborate with psychiatrists and a multidisciplinary team, develop individualized treatment plans, prescribe psychopharmacology, provide psychotherapy, maintain records, and participate in planning meetings.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Active and unrestricted APRN license in Georgia.
• DEA registration and prescriptive authority in Georgia.
• Board Certification as PMHNP, FNP, or PA-C.
• Two years of PMHNP/FNP/PA-C experience preferred.

• Complete history and physicals and medical follow-up.

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)/Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)/Physician Assistant with addiction medicine experience to join our team. The clinician will provide comprehensive psychiatric care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment, to patients with a variety of mental health conditions in a residential treatment setting in addition to history and physicals and medical follow-up. This role involves collaborating with our team of psychiatrists and other team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments for patients.

Qualifications

• Board Certification as PMHNP/FNP/PA-C.
• Behavioral health or addiction treatment experience preferred.
• Active and unrestricted APRN license in Georgia.
• DEA registration and prescriptive authority in Georgia.
• Strong clinical skills in the assessment and treatment of psychiatric conditions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
• This is an in-person position. Must be within commuting distance of Statesboro, GA.
