Athra Systems/Crosstown Mental Health in Georgia is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), or Physician Assistant with addiction medicine experience to provide comprehensive psychiatric care in a residential treatment setting, including history and physicals and medical follow-up, in collaboration with our psychiatry team.

This role requires strong clinical skills, board certification, an active Georgia APRN license, Georgia DEA

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Two years of PMHNP/FNP/PA-C experience preferred.
• Active Georgia APRN license with DEA registration.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments for patients.
• Complete history and physicals.
• Medical follow-up and treatment plan management.
• Prescribe and manage psychopharmacological treatments.
• Provide psychotherapy and counseling.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team for coordinated care.
• Maintain detailed patient records and participate in team conferences.

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)/Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)/Physician Assistant with addiction medicine experience to join our team. The clinician will provide comprehensive psychiatric care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment, to patients with a variety of mental health conditions in a residential treatment setting in addition to history and physicals and medical follow-up. This role involves collaborating with our team of psychiatrists and other team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments for patients.
• Complete history and physicals
• Medical follow-up
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans.
• Prescribe and manage psychopharmacological treatments.
• Provide psychotherapy and counseling to patients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care.
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records.
• Participate in case conferences, treatment planning meetings, and other collaborative efforts.
• Stay current with advancements in psychiatric care and participate in continuing education activities.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Two years of experience working as a PMHNP/FNP/PA-C is preferred.
• Board Certification as PMHNP/FNP/PA-C.
• Behavioral health or addiction treatment experience preferred.
• Active and unrestricted APRN license in Georgia.
• DEA registration and prescriptive authority in Georgia.
• Strong clinical skills in the assessment and treatment of psychiatric conditions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
• This is an in-person position. Must be within commuting distance of Statesboro, GA.
