Job summary

Athra Systems/Crosstown Mental Health is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)/Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)/Physician Assistant with addiction medicine experience to provide comprehensive psychiatric care in a residential setting.

The clinician will perform assessments, diagnoses, and treatment, including history and physicals and medical follow-up, in collaboration with psychiatrists and the broader team.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Two years of midlevel provider experience preferred.
• Board Certification required.
• Active nursing license in Georgia and DEA registration in Georgia.
• Behavioral health or addiction treatment experience preferred.
• In-person position.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments for patients.
• Complete history and physicals.
• Medical follow-up.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans.
• Prescribe and manage psychopharmacological treatments.
• Provide psychotherapy and counseling to patients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)/Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)/Physician Assistant with addiction medicine experience to join our team. The clinician will provide comprehensive psychiatric care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment, to patients with a variety of mental health conditions in a residential treatment setting in addition to history and physicals and medical follow-up. This role involves collaborating with our team of psychiatrists other team members.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
