Job summary

Athra Systems/Crosstown Mental Health is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) with addiction medicine experience to join our team in San Antonio, TX. The clinician will provide comprehensive psychiatric care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment, in a residential setting, along with history and physicals and medical follow-up.

The role requires active Texas APRN licensure and DEA registration.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• 2 years of PMHNP/FNP experience preferred.
• Board Certification as PMHNP or FNP.
• Behavioral health or addiction treatment experience preferred.
• Active and unrestricted APRN license in Texas.
• DEA registration and prescriptive authority in Texas.
• Strong clinical skills in psychiatric assessment and treatment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments for patients.
• Complete history and physicals.
• Medical follow-up.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans.
• Prescribe and manage psychopharmacological treatments.
• Provide psychotherapy and counseling to patients.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)/Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) with addiction medicine experience to join our team. The clinician will provide comprehensive psychiatric care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment, to patients with a variety of mental health conditions in a residential treatment setting in addition to history and physicals and medical follow-up. This role involves collaborating with our team of psychiatrists other team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strong clinical skills in the assessment and treatment of psychiatric conditions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• This is an in-person position. Must be within commuting distance of San Antonio, TX.
