Job summary

Athra Systems/Crosstown Mental Health is seeking a PMHNP/FNP/PA-C with addiction medicine experience for in-person care in Bel Aire, KS. The clinician will perform psychiatric evaluations, issue diagnoses, and manage comprehensive treatment plans within a residential setting.

You will prescribe psychopharmacological treatments and deliver psychotherapy while collaborating with psychiatrists and a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate in Nursing from an accredited program.
• 2 years of PMHNP/FNP/PA-C experience preferred.
• Active APRN license; Kansas DEA registration with prescriptive authority.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments.
• Complete history and physicals; medical follow-up.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans.
• Prescribe and manage psychopharmacological treatments.
• Provide psychotherapy and counseling to patients.

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)/Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)/Physician Assistant with addiction medicine experience to join our team. The clinician will provide comprehensive psychiatric care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment, to patients with a variety of mental health conditions in a residential treatment setting in addition to history and physicals and medical follow-up. This role involves collaborating with our team of psychiatrists and other team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments for patients.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Two years of experience working as a PMHNP/FNP/PA-C is preferred.
• Board Certification as PMHNP/FNP/PA-C.
• Behavioral health or addiction treatment experience preferred.
• Active and unrestricted APRN license in Kansas.
• DEA registration and prescriptive authority in Kansas.
• Strong clinical skills in the assessment and treatment of psychiatric conditions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
• This is an in-person position. Must be within commuting distance of Bel Aire, KS.
