Job summary

United Energy Workers Healthcare in Goodyear, AZ is seeking compassionate PRN Registered Nurses to join our in-home care team as 1099 independent contractors. You will deliver holistic, patient-centered care directly in patients' homes, building lasting relationships with families while maintaining autonomy and professional standards.

Responsibilities include thorough assessments, medication administration, patient education, ADL support, and coordination with case managers.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• Willingness to travel to patients' homes.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current BLS certification.
• Ability to pass a state & federal background check.
• Malpractice Insurance is required.
• Strong problem-solving and empathetic care approach.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and provide personalized, comprehensive home care.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) with dignity and respect.
• Coordinate schedules with patients and align with plan of care and preferred hours.
• Monitor patient symptoms and promptly report changes to the team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Communicate with Case Managers and collaborating physicians to ensure unified care.
• Maintain accurate patient logs in the EMR system.
• Provide emotional support to patients and families.
