Job summary

Optimal Hospice in Colorado is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse to provide compassionate in-home hospice care for patients. You will perform comprehensive assessments, develop and adjust care plans, administer medications, educate patients and families, and coordinate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comfort and quality of life.

The role requires an active Colorado RN license, CPR certification, a valid driver's license, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Current RN license to practice in Colorado.
• Graduate of NLN-accredited school of nursing.
• CPR certification current.
• Valid driver's license.
• At least 1 year hospice experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes initial, comprehensive and ongoing patient assessments.
• Delivers professional nursing care using the nursing process.
