Job summary

Amedisys is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist for PRN overflow and PTO coverage in the Chattanooga area. You will provide OT services at the patient’s home under a physician-approved plan of care, ensuring quality, safety, and timely documentation while coordinating with the care team.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice occupational therapy in the applicable state.
• Graduate of an ACOTE-accredited OT program.
• Eligible or completed NBCOT certification exam for OT.
• One year related OT experience recommended for safe service delivery.
• If less than one year experience, regional leadership approval and mentoring required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver occupational therapy services per physician-approved plan of care.
• Ensure plan of care addresses identified problems and documents rationale as needed.
• Ensure safety and effectiveness of OT service delivery.
• Complete documentation timely and accurately.
• Supervise home health aide when RN is not active in the case.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
