Job summary

Varco Home Health, Hospice and Homecare is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist Assistant to provide one-on-one therapy in patients' homes in the El Paso area. You will support patients on ADLs, strength, balance, and safety under the supervision of an OT.

This flexible PRN role is ideal for COTAs seeking work-life balance or additional income, with independent field work and a steady patient flow.

Qualifications

• Active Texas COTA license (required).
• Home health experience preferred.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to work independently in a home setting.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Kinnser/WellSky EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatments under the direction of an Occupational Therapist.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), strength, coordination, and safety.
• Reinforce therapy plans and home exercise programs.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising OT.
• Educate patients and caregivers on safety and functional techniques.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation.
