Job summary

Overland Park Regional Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a PRN Float Pool Registered Nurse to provide patient care under the direction of the Nurse Manager and to support acutely ill patients across units as assigned.

This role requires ADN/BSN, RN license in state, BLS; ACLS within 2 months; minimum 2 years acute care in Med-Surg/Telemetry/Ortho/Inpatient Rehab; schedule 6 12-hour shifts in a four-week cycle (including three weekend shifts) with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• ACLS required within 2 months of hire.
• Minimum 2 years acute care experience in Med Surg, Telemetry, Ortho, Inpatient Rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

• The Float Pool RN provides patient care under the direction of the Nurse Manager/Director.
• Provides therapeutic and administrative services for patients.
• Delivers care for acutely ill patients in units as determined by the Float Pool agreement.
• Supports mission of Overland Park Regional Medical Center.
