Job summary

Overland Park Regional Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a Registered Nurse for the Float Pool to deliver patient care under the Nurse Manager’s direction. This role covers non-critical units for acutely ill patients as determined by the Float Pool agreement.

Qualified candidates hold an ADN or BSN, current RN license (or compact), with BLS on hire and ACLS within 2 months. At least two years of acute care experience is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from accredited school of nursing with either an ADN or BSN degree.
• Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license.
• BLS required upon hire. ACLS required within 2 months of hire.
• 2 years acute care experience required.

Responsibilities

• The Float Pool Registered Nurse performs patient care under the direction of the Nurse Manager/Director of the department to which the RN is assigned for his or her shift.
• The RN in the Non-Critical Care Float Pool provides care for acutely ill patients in units as determined by the Float Pool agreement.
