Job summary

Baptist Health Hamburg is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department on a PRN Third Shift. The ED provides 24/7 emergency care with a full range of services and a collaborative team environment.

You will perform patient assessments, develop care plans, deliver direct care, and lead care delivery. Requires Kentucky RN license, BLS, ACLS/PALS/NRP, and a Bachelor's or Associate degree.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure or work permit in Kentucky.
• Bachelor’s or an associate degree in nursing from an accredited college/university.
• Applicants with an associate degree in nursing and less than 10 years of experience must enroll within 12 months of hire in a bachelor’s degree program and must have achieved the degree within 5 years.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. If not already certified, must obtain BLS within 30 days of their hire date.
• ACLS/PALS/NRP and successful completion of dysrhythmia class as required by department of assignment.

The Emergency Department at Baptist Health Hamburg is a part of a 344,000-square-foot medical center offering 24/7 emergency care for patients of all ages. The ED includes specialty treatment rooms, an Extended Care Unit for short-stay observation, and access to 24-hour EMS transport, including ALS ambulance support.
