Job summary

Baptist Health Hamburg in Kentucky is seeking a Registered Nurse-ED for a full-time third shift in the Emergency Department. The department offers 24/7 emergency care, specialty treatment rooms, and an extended observation unit.

You will assess patients, develop care plans, provide direct care, manage delivery, and demonstrate leadership to support quality care and a healing environment.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure or work permit in Kentucky.
• Bachelor's or an associate degree in nursing from an accredited college/university.
• If holding an associate degree with <10 years experience, must enroll in a BSN within 12 months and complete within 5 years.
• BLS certification required; obtain within 30 days if not certified.
• ACLS/PALS/NRP and dysrhythmia class as required by department.

$15,000 Sign on Bonus Available for Qualified Individuals

The Emergency Department at Baptist Health Hamburg is a part of a 344,000-square-foot medical center offering 24/7 emergency care for patients of all ages. The ED includes specialty treatment rooms, an Extended Care Unit for short-stay observation, and access to 24-hour EMS transport, including ALS ambulance support. Our team delivers high-quality, patient-focused care in a modern, collaborative environment.

Requirements RN-ED

• Current RN licensure or work permit in Kentucky.
• Bachelor's or an associate degree in nursing from an accredited college/university.
• Applicants with an associate degree in nursing and less than 10 years of experience must enroll within 12 months of hire in a bachelor's degree program and must have achieved the degree within 5 years.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. If not already certified, must obtain BLS within 30 days of their hire date.
• ACLS/PALS/NRP and successful completion of dysrhythmia class as required by department of assignment.
