Job summary

OPCO Skilled Management is seeking a Dietary Aide to support cooking staff in a nursing center while assisting with meal preparation, labeling nourishments, desserts, salads and beverages. The role follows production sheets and emphasizes sanitation and safety.

Strong English reading and writing skills are needed, with prior food service and long-term care experience preferred. Training and instruction will be provided to ensure quality in meal service.

Objective

Performs a variety of tasks usually not requiring cooking skills in the preparation, service, and clean up for meals served to patients and staff in the nursing center and other special events.

Food Preparation/Production Responsibilities

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to read and understand English for business necessity.
• Basic understanding of sanitation, organization and safety.
• Prior experience in food service preferred.
