Job summary

ProCare Preston Hollow Emergency in Dallas seeks a PRN ER Technician to support registered nurses in delivering patient-centered care and to assist with data collection and vital signs under RN supervision.

The ER Technician will help obtain and record admission data, vital signs, height/weight, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, intake/output, and other patient information as outlined by policy. EMT-B or higher certifications preferred for PRN coverage.

Qualifications

• An EMT-Basic must have BLS
• A Paramedic must have BLS/ACLS/PALS
• High School Graduate/GED
• Emergency Medical Technician-Basic (EMT-B), Emergency Medical Technician Advanced (AEMT), Emergency Medical Paramedic (EMT-P) PREFERRED.

• We are seeking a PRN ER Technician to join our team to help deliver high quality care to our patients. The ER Technician will help provide patient centered care by performing a variety of delegated basic patient care services related to common nursing functions and activities of daily living. Under the supervision of the registered nurse (RN), the ER Technician will assist the nursing staff in providing patient care in accordance with the ER Technician’s skills/training and the needs of the department. The ER Technician will assist the nursing staff in obtaining and recording patient information such as admission data, vital signs, height and weight, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, intake and output, and other patient information as outlined by policy.

Qualifications:

• An EMT-Basic must have BLS
• A Paramedic must have BLS/ACLS/PALS
