Job summary

Wellstar North Fulton Hospital in Roswell, Georgia is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver safe, high-quality imaging and a supportive patient experience within a collaborative care team. The position requires completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT certification (Radiography and CT), BLS, and at least 1 year of radiology experience, with a commitment to ALARA and patient care.

Competitive hourly pay with shift differential is offered.

Qualifications

• Accredited Radiologic Technology program completion.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures per department guidelines and capture quality images.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and maintain ALARA dose.
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain rooms/equipment per infection control schedules.
• Obtain clinical history and verify orders and patient identifiers.
• Explain procedures using AIDET and reduce patient anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety during visits.
• Document and finalize studies in RIS/PACS.
• Monitor patient condition and assist with emergencies.
• Support department workflow and keep areas stocked.
