Job summary

Wellstar North Fulton Hospital in Roswell, Georgia, seeks a CT Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging and a supportive patient experience. You will perform CT procedures, view and interpret images, and adhere to ALARA principles while maintaining safety and patient comfort.

The role requires completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications, and at least 1 year in Radiology.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• ARRT-R (Radiography) and ARRT-CT certifications; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines while ensuring the lowest reasonable radiation dose (ALARA).
• Operate imaging and radiographic equipment safely and independently.
• Acquire, review, and verify clinical history; ensure two patient identifiers before exams.
• Explain procedures, prep, and post-care to patients; reduce anxiety using AIDET.
• Maintain patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout visits.
• Complete documentation and finalize studies in RIS/PACS, including prior exam retrieval.
• Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, and help restock life-support equipment as needed.
• Organize daily workflows to support department efficiency and compliance with regulations.
