Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
• Minimum three (3) years of CT experience.
• ARRT (R) certification required; ARRt (CT) certification required.
• Nebraska Medical Radiographer License required.
• BLS certification preferred.
• Experience with venipuncture and IV contrast administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare CT suite, equipment, contrast media, and supplies for procedures.
• Explain procedures to patients and provide care that supports physical and emotional needs during radiology.
• Obtain and document clinical history and indications for CT imaging in the EHR.
• Perform CT scans according to physician orders and radiology protocols.
• Start IVs and administer contrast agents when appropriate.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images for interpretation by the radiologist.
• Ensure adherence to safety, regulatory, and imaging standards.
