Job summary

Think Whole Person Healthcare Aksarben is seeking a CT Technologist to perform high-quality CT imaging under supervision, ensuring patient safety and image quality within radiology standards. The role emphasizes compassionate patient care and collaboration with the radiology team.

The position requires an Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology, ARRT CT certification, and Nebraska licensure, with a minimum of 3 years CT experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) years of CT experience.
• ARRT (R) and ARRt (CT) certifications.
• Nebraska Medical Radiographer License.
• BLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare CT suite, equipment, contrast media, and supplies necessary for procedures.
• Explain procedures to patients and provide care that supports both physical and emotional needs while in radiology.
• Obtain and document relevant clinical history and indications for CT imaging in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Perform CT scans in accordance with physician orders and radiology protocols.
• Start IVs and administer contrast agents when appropriate.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images for interpretation by the supervising radiologist.
• Ensure adherence to safety, regulatory, and imaging standards.
