Job summary

MedCadre in Phoenix, AZ seeks a CT Technologist to perform computed tomography examinations and produce high-quality diagnostic images. You will prepare patients, position them accurately, operate CT equipment, and administer contrast as permitted, ensuring patient safety throughout procedures.

You will monitor patients during scans, review images for quality, maintain records, and uphold radiation safety and infection control standards.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in Radiologic Technology or related field.
• Current ARRT certification in Radiography with CT credentials.
• Current state license or certification in radiologic/imaging as applicable.
• Previous CT or radiology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Operate CT scanners and related imaging equipment. Administer contrast media as permitted by applicable regulations and protocols. Monitor patients during procedures and respond appropriately to adverse reactions. Review images for quality and ensure required views are obtained. Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation. Follow radiation safety, infection control, and patient safety standards. Perform routine equipment checks and report technical issues as needed. Communicate effective with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff.

Qualifications

Associate degree or equivalent education in Radiologic Technology or a related field. Current ARRT certification in Radiography and appropriate CT credentials as required. Current state radiologic/imaging license or certification as applicable. Previous CT or radiology experience preferred. Strong knowledge of CT procedures, anatomy, radiation safety, and patient care. Excellent technical, communication, and organizational skills.
